Abstract

It is well known within criminology that those with psychiatric disabilities are at an increased risk of victimization, however there is little known about the impact of psychiatric service dogs in relation to risk of victimization. The following article is a preliminary literature review to a potential case study proposing further research towards identifying if the presence of psychiatric service dogs effects risk of victimization to those with psychiatric disabilities.
